Getting a massage at the spa is one of my favorite things in the world, and believe me, I would go once a week if I could. While we all would love to call ta masseuse every day, we know that it is not a possibility. If you want a more realistic solution to dealing with a tight neck, this technique will surely come in handy.
To give yourself a massage, you'll only need a tennis ball, a yoga mat or carpet, and 3 minutes.
Lie down on a comfortable, flat surface. Bend your knees, making sure your low back is against the mat. Place the tennis ball in between the floor and the curve behind your neck,
Breathe and let the tennis ball rest on the back of your neck, turn your head to the right, and take a few breaths, continue rolling until your ear is perpendicular to the floor.
Return to the center and repeat on the left side.
With your head positioned facing to the ceiling, now slowly tuck your chin toward your chest and return to the starting position.
