These are the signs that will tell you your plant needs attention!

While plants are great to brighten up your day and make your living space more comfortable, it sometimes gets difficult to take care of them. Here are some ideas!

If you are not the green thumb kind of person, don’t worry, you are in the right place to learn how to take care of them.

1. Its leaves have changed the color

If the leaves of your plant become yellow or brown –or both–, they might not be getting enough sun or the opposite. If you see the leaves starting to wither, something could be wrong with the soil. To fix it, check the soil, if it is two dries, just add water. If you notice the soil is wet, maybe the roots have become too rotted and you need to re-pot your plant.

2. The soil does not hold the water

You are watering the plant, but it seems as if the soil does not hold the water. This could be since the roots of the plant have taken over the pot or the soil has become too hard or crusted. If you want to fix it, it’s high time you changed the plant into a bigger pot, try soaking the put in a bucket of water.

3. The roots show through the drainage holes

If your plant is root-bound, the roots may be poking out of the holes at the bottom of the pot or even showing on the top of the soil? And again, you have to replace it with a bigger pot, while you do so, check that the roots are white or light brown.

4. The plants have burnt spots

Plants can get sunburnt if they are too exposed to sunlight. If you see burnt spots, move your plant to a different pot close to the light, but not under the sun.

5. The leaves are dropping

Believe it or not, plants can get stressed as well. Even moving the plants can make your plant stressed. To fix it, you need patience, check if you are not overwatering the plant, and make sure the plant is in a place where it’s neither too hot, nor too cold.
