With these habits your mind’s going to feel free.
1-Go to bed early and get up early
To stay awake watching TV or trying to get some work done is not good for your health, the opposite. People tend to feel irritable after waking up with less hours of sleep.
2-Start the day off in silence
It’s not advisable to start the day with music or any kind of device that makes noise. Mornings are the perfect time to enjoy the silence and be grateful for it.
3-Drink plenty of water
Especially in the morning. Drink two glasses of water upon waking up, before eating anything. Drink a glass of water 30 mins before every meal and 1-hour before bed.
4-Don't wait too long to get up and start moving around
After the silent time, move around a bit. Go for a little walk, sweep the floor, stretch, whatever pleases you. This way you are saying to your body that it needs to wake up and to your mind, too. Exercise also helps inspire better idea generation and build confidence in your abilities.
5-Consume fewer calories
Only eat when you’re hungry and stop when you’re 80% full. That’s it, don’t get confused, not every time you are “hungry” it’s real, sometimes you are just dehydrated. Drink water first before eating anything. Consume a high fiber diet — all-bran cereal in the morning is a good start. Fiber counterbalances the negative effects of highly processed and sugary foods and it will fill you up, too.
6- Limit your time on the internet and devices
They are addictive and distracting and can take away not only precious time but also energy.
7-Limit your exposure to the news
The news focuses on negative events and is more about entertaining than informing. Most of what the news informs you about are things you don’t need to know and much of it is biased and inaccurate. Avoid them and you’ll be happier.
