Sour cream is one of my kitchen staples, and this substitute is super flavorful but totally plant-based. It features only five ingredients and it will take you no more than 5 minutes to prepare.

  1. Use a high-speed blender to combine all the ingredients until you get a smooth paste.
  2. Let the mixture chill for 4 hours in the fridge so it thickens and you are ready to use it!
