The answer is, yes, you do have to apply sunscreen to your complexion no matter the foundation you choose. If you wear any kind of makeup products with SPF you might think it is acceptable to do without the sunscreen, but it turns out that it is not enough.

Makeup is not applied as evenly as sunscreen, and to get the same protection you would if you had applied your sunscreen, you would need to apply a much thicker layer of foundation.

If you really want to protect your skin from UVB rays, you need to apply two tablespoons o SPF to your body and a nickel-size amount to your complexion. The average person is not really applying that much, so even if your skincare and makeup products have SPF, you can not skip applying SPF. Remember it is the best anti-aging product you'll ever have, not to mention all the dangerous conditions that stem from being exposed to the sun without any protection.
