All you need to know about Kundalini: the yoga of awareness

Some call Kundalini the yoga of awareness. This is one of the oldest styles of yoga practice. If you are willing to discover something different to raise your energy levels, Kundalini Yoga may be the way for you!

Yoga has become a popular practice! How many people do you see in the streets carrying a yoga mat? Much of the success in the western world, is due to “yogi-celebrities” who don’t shy away from telling us all about it.

What is the aim? To improve the connection between body and mind, so that we can improve our knowledge of ourselves.

2. Kundalini Yoga techniques: Asanas, Prana and Mantras

  1. Kundalini exercises have different asanas (or postures) that make the spine more flexible. Spiral movements and arches (e.g. Cat Pose or Marjaryasana).

  3. Another key point of Kundalini: Meditation. It is done by repeating a few words (or mantras). The aim is to activate the energy center located at the top of the head.

  3. Increase sensitivity to hot and cold
  4. Negative feelings (anxiety, depression, guilt, etc.)
