Actor Leo di Caprio has put many resources at the service of environmental causes since 1998. He set up the Leonardo di Caprio Foundation to defend the health of forests, oceans and the poles. As a result of this work and his popularity, Di Caprio was named a UN Messenger of Peace on Climate Change. His apartment in New York is one of the most efficient homes in the world.

Actor Matt Damon has long worked to improve access to water for the world's most vulnerable populations. That is why he created Water.org to facilitate access to drinking water in the least developed countries. His commitment is reinforced by his role as producer of a series of environmental documentaries called Journey to Planet Earth.
